Description

The Agadir city tour includes visits of The best places in city. You will begin by taking in the spectacular views from the top of the Kasbah, and then you will test your haggling abilities at a Souk El Hed (local market). All of this will take place while you gain an understanding of the history of this city.

At the beginning of the Agadir city tour, we will be driving along the Agadir beach line promenade. After that, we will drive up the hill to Agadir Ou-fellah (Agadir hilltop), the city’s 16th-century Saadian Kasbah (Fortress that was built in 1572), which provides a complete panoramic view of the entire city as well as the fishing port.

Following our stop at the Kasbah, we will travel to the Argan Oil House. Here, you will learn about an extremely rare oil, observe how Berber women make what is known in Europe as a Golden Liquid, and discover how they pick and dry the nuts, roast and crush the kernels, and ultimately extract the pure oil. This is an event that is truly authentically Moroccan in every way, and you shouldn’t pass it up.

The “Souk El Had” or Sunday Market, will be our last destination before we head back to the hotel. This market is the largest one in the area. At the neighborhood market, you will have one hour of free time to explore the market on your own at the beginning of your visit.

Notes to Consider

  1. The local Market is closed on Mondays, so no Market stop on book tours on Mondays.
