Small desert day trip from Agadir​

Start your excursion with a pick-up from your hotel around 8:30 AM, heading first to the fisherman village on the wild beach of Sidi R’bat. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the fishermen’s caves and perhaps find some shells along the isolated beach.

Next, your journey continues on a rally-style drive across sand dunes and sandy terrain along the Atlantic Ocean. Afterward, make a quick stop at the Massa River, where you might spot some migrating birds, before heading toward the walled city of Tiznit. In Tiznit, you can see the ancient walls and ramparts, and take a stroll through the old Medina to explore the handmade Berber silver jewelry.

Following a short break in Tiznit, you will drive towards the Atlas Mountains for a traditional lunch at a local Berber house. The meal includes Tajine, Couscous, a dessert of local seasonal fruits, and mint tea. Vegetarian meals can also be requested.

After lunch, you will have free time in the Small Sahara dunes to take photos and enjoy the sand dunes. You can also opt for a camel ride (which is optional and not included in the price). Following the desert stop, the trip continues to the reservoir of Youssef Ben Tachfine, where you can enjoy a panoramic view from the top of the hill while observing the everyday Moroccan country lifestyle.

Finally, you’ll head back to your hotel, wrapping up the day’s adventure.
